This board is built for serious use and lasting beauty. Hand-assembled from premium black walnut and hard maple, the striking checkerboard end-grain pattern delivers exceptional durability while showcasing bold natural contrast. End-grain construction allows blades to slip between wood fibers, helping knives stay sharper longer and giving the board decades of service with proper care.
At 23.5” long × 13” wide × 2.5” thick, this is a true butcher-block workhorse—substantial in weight, rock-solid on the counter, and equally at home in a professional kitchen or as a centerpiece in a collector’s home.
