This inaugural board pairs rugged Appalachian hickory with a bold black walnut racing stripe running cleanly through the center, symbolizing the Treeing Walker’s speed, focus, and unmistakable presence in the field. The contrast is striking, timeless, and unmistakably Southern.
Built using true end-grain construction, this board is engineered for both performance and longevity. Knife edges slip between the wood fibers rather than against them, helping blades stay sharper while delivering exceptional durability for years of heavy use.
At 23.5” long × 13.5” wide × 2.5” thick, Old Hickory is a substantial butcher-block work surface—solid, balanced, and commanding on any countertop.
Every Coonhound Collection board is fully outfitted with:
